Dalhousie Multifaith Centre

Located at 1321 Edward Street   [MAP]  , the Centre is open from 9am to 4pm daily. It has a prayer and meditation room, which is a perfect space to find quiet. You can also arrange to meet with one of the chaplains who are on duty in the Centre, officially appointed by their religious bodies and approved by the University: Anglican, Buddhist, Christian Reformed, Jewish, Lutheran, Muslim, Roman Catholic and United Church.

Each Dalhousie Chaplain and Associate Chaplain endeavors to serves the entire University community. The chaplains work in full accord with the principles and spirit of ecumenical, multicultural, multifaith, and interfaith relationships. It is the vision of the Multifaith Centre to develop relationships with students, faculty, and staff that are characterized by understanding, respect, transparency, acceptance, trust, forgiveness, truthfulness, and compassion.

As chaplains, we offer confidential counseling on personal and spiritual issues and provide opportunities for prayer and worship, retreats, workshops, lectures, and social activities.
