Students for the Streets
The vision of this campus ministry involves a desire to mobilize students to serve those who live in material poverty, homelessness, or have fallen on hard times. We try to make it possible for students to become involved in advocacy work, to build genuine relationships with others, and to get to know the faces of the people behind the issues that we are concerned about.
Students for the Streets is a student-led think-tank and community action group that is dedicated to tackling issues related to poverty and homelessness in the HRM. We provide students with opportunities for service in the community and with access to community representatives who work alongside people on the streets.

Throughout the semester we plan a variety of outings, events, and service projects.
